Sustainable awesomeness
Shoes of Reima x Minna Parikka are a small wonder of sustainable design. The shoe styles of the collection are made in collaboration with ACBC, a forerunner company for renewable and circular materials.
Also, the apparel in the collection are made with more sustainable materials, such as recycled polyester in tracksuits and organic cotton and plant-based Sorona® in t-shirts and socks
FreeBio™ is a bio-based leather alternative derived from wood fiber, calcium carbonate, recycled polyurethane and recycled polyester.
RePET is derived from recycled PET bottles. Using recycled polyester means saving a great amount of CO2 compared to using virgin material and reduces the problem of plastic in landfills and oceans.
ReCotton is obtained through the complete recycling of old cotton fabrics or cotton production waste. They undergo a manufacturing process called the regenerated cycle, in which they are processed in such a way as to obtain a completely new fabric.
