Klaus Haapaniemi is a Finnish, internationally recognized artist and designer known for his instantly recognizable, fantastical and flamboyant style that has adorned illustrations, advertising art, clothing prints, opera costumes, and much more.
The designer’s own artisanal design and lifestyle brand Klaus Haapaniemi & Co. was founded by Klaus Haapaniemi and Mia Wallenius in 2010. Their design approach is influenced by mystical nature, Finnish folklore and traditional decorative arts with a modern twist.
Sustainability lies at the heart of our work.
Our children will inherit the planet we leave for them, so we work hard to ensure the clothing we create improves it - not harms it.
In our Klaus Haapaniemi collection, we use recycled water bottles to create our jackets, and in some styles, our polyester is plant-based - making it even more green!
