These fleece lined pants are godsend - specially springtime in Alberta, when snow pants are too warm and not enough waterproof. Kiddo loves to spend time on slides or slopes, and his bum stays warm and dry. Great quality

Great outdoor pants
Excellent quality and very practical for playing outside in all sorts of conditions. I do find that the waist is fairly tight even though the legs are plenty long, so be aware of that and size up if you have a rounder kiddo. Long legs are not an issue since the elastic cuff keeps them out of the mud.

Best transitional pants!
The best VK pants. I always get new ones when the previous ones become too small. They are really easy to put on and stay up well, thanks to the wide elastic waistband and cuffs. There are no snaps, zippers, or adjustments, just a simple and functional design. The material is soft and suitable for mild weather, and you can layer underneath when it gets cooler. I especially appreciate the durability of the fabric. Even after one child, there are hardly any signs of use, so I can easily sell the pants to someone else. Many other users have had the same experience. I also like that the design is always the same, so I can purchase them again for many years without having to search for new pants. A good product shouldn't be changed just for the sake of renewal. The size is fairly generous in Reima style, and I've been able to use the same pants for two transitional seasons in a row.

Favorite cool weather pants.
Favorite hiking and playing pants for any fall, spring, or cooler summer weather. They are also great in winter when worn over a base layer, if we don't want to wear a full snowsuit. The quality is excellent - we recently spent an hour sliding on a slab rock, and there were no tears in the fabric at all. I especially love the adjustable waist, which is perfect for my tall and slender child.

Missing the softshell overall, it's a shame that it doesn't come in larger sizes than 128. However, in second place are these pants, which are perfect for skiing in the spring. They can withstand quite a bit of water before getting wet. If they had foot loops and waterproof seams, they would be even better. Maybe they are a bit short in the legs, but they have a nice fit with an adjustable waist.

great outdoors pants
Warmer than I thought - or at least my kids have been wearing these in -15C weather with a warm pair of long johns without complaint. Great mobility and easy to put on, very durable. Love the visibility. A great product for shoulder season and even mild winter weather. 5 fits my 6 year old daughter (who is on the short size) very well and 9 fits my 9 year old perfects (she is an average height for her age) and they both have very different body types
