    Barefoot shoes we needed

    All of my son's past barefoot shoes have not been able to hold up well to mountain life, he always ended up sliding down the slippery trails without good traction and the shoes wore out so quickly. These are sturdy and with great traction very happy with them!

    Comfortable, but not durable.

    Within under a month these shoes are falling apart at the seams. The seam that joins bottom sole to the top is peeling off, and it’s not like I’ve done anything crazy to them. Just hikes, puddle splashing, walking, ect. Unfortunate because these are spendy shoes! I’ve asked for a refund with photo proof of the state of the shoes. I would include them here in this review too if I could.

    My kids want these for every outing

    My kids love that they are able to get these on and off by themselves fostering independence. They are waterproof and keep dirt out so they don’t get uncomfortable with dirt or dust in their socks.

    Too narrow for wide feet

    Here are a few polished rewrites you can choose from, depending on the tone you prefer: 1. Neutral and clear (good for reviews): > We really wanted to love these boots, but my 2-year-old has wide feet and a high instep. Unfortunately, other Reima shoes don’t fit him either, and I was hoping the barefoot collection would work — but it didn’t. Great quality boots, but not a good fit for my 2-year-old’s wide feet and high instep. I had high hopes for the barefoot line, but it didn’t work out. They do, however, fit my older child perfectly. I wish Reima could add a wide feet option to the collection.
