    It was great until I hand washed it . . .

    This was our favorite hat until it got dirty and I very gently hand washed it with cold water. It shrunk SO much that it no longer was usable at all and we gave it to a friend with a toddler.

    Hat fits like a glove!

    This will probably only be a one-season hat because I ordered the closest fit I could find but it's an amazing hat - stays on well, very warm, love the ties and of course it's cute.

    Very cute but incredible shrinkage

    I washed this on a cold delicate cycle per the instructions. As other reviewers said, it shrank at least two sizes! The lining doesn't shrink, just the wool. I attempting to stretch it out now. Surely there is a way to design this adorable hat so this doesn't happen!

    Beautiful but better not wash it

    This is a great winter hat, I really liked it for my toddler as it is very warm and covered her ears perfectly. I was even hoping she could do another winter with the same hat. Unfortunately, I washed it carefully according to the instructions, and it did shrink so much that it doesn't fit on her head anymore. It went down one full size if not more! This is frustrating, and quite disappointing for this brand and this price!

    Warm and cute
