    Didn’t last a full season

    Debated between a few different barefoot brands for my kiddos, thought they could even be a boot that gets handed down once they outgrew them. However both size rainboots started blowing out in the heel before a whole rain season had passed. Now they both have leaky boots and it’s uncomfortable in the back. Was hoping that at this price point for a kid shoe they would be better quality or last longer.

    We love the boots

    My son had a pair of ankle height this past year and loved them. He wanted the higher boots this time and loves them. They fit great, they dry out quickly if he gets too wet and they're comfortable. He wants to wear them all the time!

    I wish they came in smaller sizes

    I got the smallest size for my toddler who is walking but they're very big even though my toddler is 98th percentile for height. I will keep them for the future but I wish they offered these in a smaller size so that we could use them now. Our littlest walkers are the ones who need the barefoot style the most.

    Rain suit and bibs

    We purchased the rain jacket and bibs, they both run a little big, which is helpful because they’ll fit for a while to come. They’re unlined, so they can be used year round. Additionally they’re fully waterproof and made without PFAS, which was a major selling point for us. However, both the jacket and the bibs feel flimsy in their construction. The interior seams are raw, which feels like a cost cutting shortcut. As a buyer, I’m disappointed and will choose a different brand in the future.

    Not for kids with thick feet

    My daughter has both wide and thick feet, and I was excited to try these for her outdoor school. We sized up a half size, but it's a challenge to get them off her after she's worn them for a few hours, and absolutely impossible to get them back on while they are even a little damp inside. They are very waterproof, but also seem to trap sweat and moisture inside in a worse or different way than most rain boots. And for the first time in 10+ years of having kids who wear rain boots outdoors regularly in rainy, damp Oregon, they're also mildewing on the inside - and after less than 2 months! Unfortunately, we're going to have to replace them sooner than later and they won't be a repeat for us.

    Ankka- Barefoot Rain Boots

    These boots are great! Fit true to size. Use them for walks in dirt and rocks in wet and dry conditions. Seems like they are comfortable while providing good traction. They are wide enough to wear with thicker socks as well. Very happy with these.

    So cute and perfect

    I sized up since we are not yet in rain season and I want it to last till next year. Took him a couple mins to walk confidently but after that he was walking like normal. They are perfect and we are ready for the season!
