Reima snowsuits and outdoor jumpsuits are designed to need as little washing as possible, but accidents happen. So, what’s the safest and quickest way to get that snowsuit clean and ready for more winter adventures?

ReimaTec snowsuits are machine-washable

  • Most of the time, a rinse or a gentle wipe with a damp sponge is sufficient to keep your snowsuit clean and fresh.

  • For stains, act quickly! If you’re outdoors, rub the stain with fresh snow. This should minimize the stain.

  • For messier situations, you can wash your snowsuit in the washing machine at max 40 °C/104 °F. Avoid fabric softener.

Before washing

  • Close all hook-and-loop fastenings, fasten snaps, and close zippers so they don’t get caught on other items in the wash.

  • Remember to detach the hood’s faux fur trim and wash it by hand if needed.

  • You can also detach the entire hood, but we recommend washing it with the snowsuit to keep the colors matching.

  • Then turn the entire snowsuit inside out before putting it in the washing machine.

Tumble dry or air dry

  • All Reima snowsuits air dry quickly and safely; check the label to see if tumble drying is an option.

  • Whichever method you go for, dry the snowsuit inside out.

Test stain removers in a secret spot

  • If a stain doesn’t come out in the wash, stain removers are perfectly safe to use on ReimaTec products.

  • We recommend testing it in a non-obvious spot before slathering it on, just in case it affects the color
