Skiing is our favorite way to play as a family! We get out as often as we can, in all kinds of weather. We are raising our 10yr old, 6yr old, and 3yr old in Colorado. Here are 3 tips to enjoying a family ski day!

TIP 2: SET KID-CENTRIC EXPECTATIONS
While Mom might be hoping to explore on skis, my littlest ones have taught me to embrace the joy of making snow angels and tiny snowmen. Keep PLAY at the center of the day, and your little ones will be eager to join again!

TIP 3: LEAVE THEM WANTING MORE
Call it quits while you're ahead! Trust me, you'd rather be trudging back to the car with skiers who are crying for MORE SKIING, rather than be navigating a melt down in a blizzard on the side of a mountain. Any day that my kids are begging for MORE is a successful ski day in my book.
The goal is to have a lifelong adventure buddy! Getting to their level and connecting through PLAY is the most special experience- for our kids, AND for us!
