What to Wear Skiing or Snowboarding (for Kids)

1. Base Layers

Research recently undertaken by The Norwegian Institute for Water Research (NIVA), revealed Reima to be one of just three European children’s wear manufacturers to offer completely toxin-free children’s clothing. Altogether NIVA tested 34 textiles from different European brands and discovered 31 contained environmental toxins. Some of the products tested contained different per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS). PFAS are man-made compounds used in water-repellent clothing. They are a public health concern as, in high concentrations, some have been linked to adverse health effects in laboratory animals.
