This policy describes the types of information we may collect from you or that you may provide when you visit the website https://us.reima.com (our “Website") and our practices for collecting, using, maintaining, protecting, and disclosing that information.

This policy applies to information we collect:

  • On this Website.

  • In email, text, and other electronic messages between you and this Website.

  • Through mobile and desktop applications you download from this Website, which provides dedicated non-browser-based interaction between you and this Website.

  • When you interact with our advertising and applications on third-party websites and services if those applications or advertising include links to this policy.

It does not apply to information collected by:

  • Us offline or through any other means, including on any other website operated by Company or any third party; or

  • Any third party, including through any application or content (including advertising) that may link to or be accessible from or on the Website.

Please read this policy carefully to understand our policies and practices regarding your information and how we will treat it. If you do not agree with our policies and practices, your choice is not to use our Website. By accessing or using this Website, you agree to this privacy policy. This policy may change from time to time (see section “Changes to Our Privacy Policy”). Your continued use of this Website after we make changes is deemed to be acceptance of those changes, so please check the policy periodically for updates.

Children Under the Age of 16

Our Website is not intended for children under 16 years of age. No one under age 16 may provide any information to or on the Website. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you are under 16, do not use or provide any information on this Website or on or through any of its features. If we learn we have collected or received personal information from a child under 16 without verification of parental consent, we will delete that information. If you believe we might have any information from or about a child under 16, please contact us at:

350 Springfield Ave., Suite 200 Summit, NJ 07901

customerservice.us@reima.com

California residents under 16 years of age may have additional rights regarding the collection and sale of their personal information. Please see Your California Privacy Rights for more information.

CCPA and Children Under 16

After January 1, 2020, the CCPA prohibits selling personal information knowingly collected from a California resident (consumer) who is under the age of 16 unless it receives affirmative opt-in consent from:

  • The consumer, if the person is between 13 and 16 years of age.

  • The consumer’s parent or legal guardian, for children under age 13.

(Cal. Civ. Code § 1798.120(c) and (d).)

The business must have actual knowledge of the minor’s age for the sale prohibition to apply. However, the CCPA treats the willful disregard of the consumer’s age as actual knowledge (Cal. Civ. Code § 1798.120(c)). For more on the CCPA’s opt-in rights, see Practice Note, Understanding the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA): Sale Opt-Out and Opt-In Rights.

Websites subject to the CCPA’s requirements should consider raising the age in this section to 16. They must also ensure compliance with the CCPA’s notification requirements and not sell personal information collected from California residents under 16 without obtaining the required opt-in consent (see Drafting Note, Your California Privacy Rights).
