The degrees of warmth level thermal markings are indicative. They have been prepared keeping in mind that underneath the shell layer, mid- and base layers will be worn according to the weather - the colder it is, the more warm layers will be chosen. An average time spent outdoors with this guidance is approximately an hour. If you plan to do sports / play actively, choose lighter mid-layer clothing and/or lighter outerwear. No flakes:

All Reima fabrics or products marked with drop symbols are waterproof. The thickness of the water mass / pressure is stated in mm.Water column over 3 000 mm:
Protects against rain for some time.Water column over 5 000 mm:
Protects against heavy rain, too.Water column over 8 000 mm:
Is suitable for both heavy rain but also sitting on wet.Water column over 12 000 mm:

Reima measures durability with a hardcore Martindale test where abrasion resistance of fabrics is tested with sand paper. Our indicated figures are not comparable with the ones of upholstery fabric testing, as they are resulted by using a woolen cloth, not sand paper. For each product we choose the best suitable and durable fabric, according to the purpose of use. Particularly durable fabrics are given a separate arrow symbol with the Martindale test value. If a product does not have this symbol, the durability measured with Martindale is less than 30 000 cycles, and possible test result indicated in the material information.Abrasion resistance over 30 000 cycles Martindale:
Very good durability, suitable for casual pants and durable jackets.Abrasion resistance over 50 000 cycles Martindale:
Excellent durability, suitable for pants and lower parts of overalls.Abrasion resistance over 80 000 cycles Martindale:
Extremely durable fabric, usually used as reinforcement material and in our most durable pants.

The warm fleece lining feels comfortable and cosy against skin.
The reinforcements on the palms, thumbs and fingers mean kids can get a good grip on whatever they're holding (and definitely help with making snowballs)! Reflective details are part of the package, too. While the material is sturdy and dirt-repellent, these easy-care kids' winter mittens can also be tumble-dried. They come in a range of colours as well.
We know that a love for the great outdoors starts at a young age. That’s why Reima’s baby and toddler snowsuits and overalls are made with future adventurers in mind. Our snowsuits have useful details like chin guards to protect little faces and extra space in the seat to fit diapers. Foot loops help keep toddlers warm and dry by preventing the pant legs from riding up.
Some snowsuits also have extra padding on the bottom—perfect for babies who aren’t walking yet and who might spend more time sitting. Plus, the special material with thermal control keeps toddlers’ core temperature just right.
Toddler Coats and Jackets
Find hardwearing winter jackets for toddlers made with Reimatec, our patented water-repellent fabric. Sealed seams keep snow and water out, and the flexible material won’t harden in freezing temperatures.
When it comes to toddler jackets, comfort and safety are key. Our coats and jackets for toddlers have elasticated waists and cuffs that let kids move comfortably. Hoods snap off easily to reduce the risk of getting caught during playtime. All faux fur hood trims are removable, too.
Down for some winter fun? Our down jackets for toddlers are as cozy as they come. They repel dirt and water so they’re both comfy and practical. Some styles, like our Ilma and Ilta down jackets and can even be tumble dried! What’s not to love?
Toddler Boots and Shoes
Find toddler shoes little ones will love to wear. Our best-selling high-top sneakers are as functional as they are comfortable. They’re waterproof too, thanks to a sealed insert and Reimatec fabric. Reima’s toddler sneakers and boots have sturdy soles that make them perfect all-day companions. Some styles have handy Velcro tabs so little ones can fasten them themselves.
And when the skies open up don’t stay indoors! Our rain boots for toddlers come in an array of cheery colors to brighten up your day. They’re made with a shorter boot shaft, especially for little legs so younger children can run and walk comfortably. Some even have playful lights that go on as you walk. Not only that, but our durable boots are made with 40 percent natural rubber and no PVC. The vulcanized rubber soles give them extra grip on slippery surfaces.
Not sure your toddler’s shoes fit properly? The happy fit insole helps you find out. Just take out the insole and have them stand on it. If their feet go over the line, it’s time to go up a size.
Toddler Mittens and Gloves
Parents know that good winter mittens for toddlers are more than just accessories—they’re absolute must-haves. Our toddler girls’ and boys’ mittens come to the rescue of little hands when the temperature plunges. They’re water and windproof but stay breathable to keep toddlers comfortable. Padded grips help little ones hold on to slippery surfaces and zippers make them easy to put on and take off. Plus, the longer design is made to fit easily over jacket sleeves.
Sometimes the day’s activities call for gloves instead of mittens. Our softshell toddler gloves are just the ticket. They have a super-soft brushed lining so they’re extra warm. They’re waterproof and touchscreen-friendly, too!
Complete your toddler’s cold-weather ensemble with a warm hat. Our wool-blend beanies come in an array of colors and some are topped with a playful pom-pom. Choose a lined hat with windproof ear flaps or those extra cold days.
Not sure how low the temperature will drop? Pack a brightly colored fleece neck warmer just in case. It has a convenient Velcro fastening on the back to make it easy to put on quickly when the weather turns colder.
