Top dressing tips for a new school semester
A breathable, mid-season jacket will offer an active kid comfort and protection when cold mornings turn into mild, rainy afternoons.
Learn to love layers
This school season, teach children to play comfortably in all weathers by dressing in layers. A long sleeved t-shirt worn under a fleece jacket makes an excellent base layer on cold mornings and can be worn as a protective, breathable overlay for when that mild morning turns into a hot afternoon. On frostier mornings, add a beanie hat and some gloves to your kid’s school outfit to keep ears and fingers toasty and warm.
Don’t forget about UV
UV rays can still be strong in autumn, and often cause many surprising sunburns. But, just like in the summer, UV protective, moisture wicking t-shirts, and caps will come to the rescue by offering protection, style, and breathability. Remember that UV doesn’t just make an appearance on warm days, so for those colder afternoons, send your kids to class with long sleeved garments for warmth and protection.
